Welcome!

Out of a common interest, a bunch of us have found joy in photographing and creating stories using our “little’uns” (fashion dolls, barbies, bjds, action men, cuddly toys and anything else that comes to hand). It’s a run-wot-you-brung mentality to storytelling!

Oh noes! Poor Bonesy!

 "WAAAAAAHHH!!!"
Bonesy cried inconsolably - although Lily tried her best to do so.
"There, there poor bonesy-chops!"

"It was horrible! So horrible! I was terrified I tell you! Terrified!"
"Well, it must have been very scary for you."
Jess seemed less convinced, but then the house skellington was rather prone to exaggeration.

"I'm sure it was quite a shock." Jess tried to sympathise as best she could.

"Th-there I was, m-mi-minding my own bu-business...." Bonesy sobbed and wailed, as he tried once again to stutter the fearful story out of his mouth...

"Poor, poor Bonesy! Take your time! Deep breaths now!"

"Hmmm..."
"Oh dear." Kiko felt a little guilty. "I didn't think he'd take it so badly."
"Ah well." Eliza remarked, trying to stifle a little smile as she looked up from her book.

Secretly, she thought that things had worked out rather well indeed...

Will we ever find out what horror was inflicted upon our usually cheerful and cheeky House Skellington? It might take Bonesy a few weeks to calm down sufficiently to explain what had turned him into a gibbering wreck, but stay tuned to Small Doll-Big World! to find out!

My little Diva

My Little Diva

Leona Siwel is my own little Diva. Here are some pictures of her singing her little heart out.

Thank you. Thank you all so much.

Cornish ramblings.

For once it wasn't raining and the sun beat down on the weary pair as they wandered through the Cornish countryside. Luna being at a slight disadvantage with her little legs managed to persuade grumpy Wulfie to give her a lift which he grudgingly did, the fresh air didn't go well with his hangover........
After an hours walk the road took them into a wooded area where ancient trees threw a welcome shade above their heads and it was from her vantage point that Luna spotted a narrow winding sidelane. Wulfie hadn't noticed it as he was now thinking of food at the village pub.
"Down there, down there" squeaked the little lycanthrope excitedly and knowing better than to argue, her friend put her on the ground and away she scampered down the lane and out of sight.
After a while, Luna heard the sound of running water coming from behind the undergrowth to her right and it was now that she realised her mistake in not bringing Wulfie, and thoughts of him sat in a pub with a pint and a pasty drifted through her tiny head............ but a quick reality check and the excitement of the adventure drove her on as she pushed her way through the undergrowth
until..................

"Wow, a secret garden and it's all mine".
Well she was partially right, it was overgrown but strangly inviting.....

Luna found that the pool blocked her way and that she'd have to find a way round it but how?

From her vantage point she could just about see the route to take but it was going to be tough going.

In the distance was a beautiful meadow and the rough direction would mean that she would cross Wulfie's path at some point so onwards.......

It was such a strange place, everything was big, bigger than normal........
A huge stone seat
There must be giants here thought Luna, much bigger than Wulfie and she shuddered a little at the thought of meeting one but there was exploring to do.
The seat was indeed big and the giants rhubarb, well........scary or what.

Luna could see the meadow getting closer as she pushed on, then suddenly at the edge of the field was a little clearing and the ideal place to stop for a rest, all this exploring was hard work.
Everything was old, abandoned but it was so good to rest for a few minutes before the tackling the meadow........mental note to ones'self, must use Wulfie more......
What strange beehives, must be something to do with the old vardo back there..........
Luna could smell the sea and hear he faint crash of the waves hitting the shore and on climbing a wall she suddenly thought she could sense Wulfie nearby........
Nooooooo, not high enough...........
Ahhhhhhhhhh there he is "Wulfie, Wulfie" the journey continued
Travelling in the same pocket as the 'store' of dogpoo bags was not ideal, at least they were empty but it sure beat walking and very soon they arrived at the edge of the world and the sea was around them on three sides
Luckily Wulfie had a bottle of pop and there were crumbs in the bottom of his pocket so having drunk her fill and eaten, Luna sat in the sun and listened to the sea before Wulfie said that it was time to go back to the RV.

Toooo much pop though, need a wee
"Noooooooo pics, hehehe, Wulfie, you ratbag......"
Going back to base didn't take long and the old motor was still there, all big and yellow like the sun

and inside was a kettle.................
